EECD encourages parents to consider physical activity and free-play as important parts of their mental health and skill development. Here are some ideas to keep children moving and having fun.
Go on a treasure hunt with your family. Keep physically distant from others. Make a list of items you'll search for (examples: flowers starting to grow, animals you see.)
Lay in the grass (or snow!) and see what shapes you can see in the clouds. Close your eyes and listen to the birds. What other sounds do you hear? What do you feel with your hands or on your face?
